My area of expertise is in geology and field work. I understand the geologic processes that create different types of depositional environments. I went to community college at COCC here in Bend, so my GEO 201-203 classes were taught with many local field trips. This gives me a great understanding of the recent volcanics that have dominated Central Oregon. I just finished my bachelor’s degree at Oregon State University in June of 2025 and I am excited to take all the textbook knowledge I've learned in school and transfer it to real life applied problems.
On a cold, calm morning after a blizzard, I open my sliding van door and see the sunrise blocked by Mt. Bachelor. I go up the mountain and catch the first tracks in about 10” of fresh powder. Skiing on a sunny blue-sky day is what I look forward to most.
